Happy Friday - hopefully it's pay day where you are because every store I've been in this week has been exploding with bright colors, it has me so giddy for spring!

I am loving the bold colors & stripes (and prices) on these gorgeous dresses from Nordstrom.




Anyways, have a great weekend! I will be super busy this weekend helping out at Blogshop, but I can't wait! I'll be posting about it on Monday :)

Happy Friday! Meet Tommy! @ 10:06 AM


Happy Friday! This weekend two of our friends are coming to visit from Boston!  They are getting in late tonight so we are going to share a fancy bottle of wine. Hopefully I can put together a platter that looks as good as this to go with it!

Fostering update!  Our sweet first foster cat Maya was adopted last Friday! It was great news but Tim & I were very sad to see her go.  Tim even said that when they picked her up and put her in the carrier on the couch, she seemed to be rocking it back and forth like she was planning a stealth escape. Anyways, we're on to the next one - meet Tommy!


When we first met Tommy he was quite the stinker, but after two baths he's cuddle approved.  He's so cute with his little mustache and loves to be held like a baby. I can't believe it's almost 2012! 2011 was filled with a brief long distance relationship, lots of moving, and the birth of Favorable Mention! I'll be heading back home for some belated birthday celebrations and to puppysit Chloe! I hope you all have amazing new year's celebrations and I'll be posting a mini 2011 album soon :)

Just a few more hours of work then I'm home free (with a little scrambling for some last minute gifts!).  But have a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!! I'll be heading home to PA for some Christmas festivities with family & friends, can't wait :)

Happy 11/11/11!!
This weekend I will be heading back to the suburbs for a relaxing weekend of petsitting! I will be meeting my mom's new puppy, Chloe and pug-sitting Tim's dog, Oscar.  I will be sure to take a lots of pictures!

This week began our apartment search. We will once again be moving after a short but sweet sublet.  I found an amazing apartment in Brooklyn that's available later than we need it, so fingers crossed it's still available & can somehow work when we go and see it on Sunday! Have a happy fall weekend!

I had an amazing time at Emily & Scott's wedding Saturday night.  It was my first New York City wedding and it definitely felt like the perfect city wedding.  Emily did an amazing job planning all the details and did the most adorable dance with her dad.

Happy Friday!! Tomorrow I will be attending my first New York City wedding! Emily & Scott will be tying the knot at the Yale Club. I'm excited to see one of my close friends get married & also to get fancy! I will be sure to take some pictures to post on Monday.

Also, a big congratulations to Jewel & Patrick on their engagement! Can't wait to help you start planning, Jewel! :)

Happy Friday!! This week has been super hectic with the move but it was well worth it!  We love the apartment, especially the awesome balcony (see our view?!).  Although we were sore & exhausted, last night we went to the Trevor Hall concert and I think it was the best way to relax after a strenuous move.  Have a happy long weekend :)
