I finally got the chance to see Midnight in Paris and loved the idea of going back to different eras. Everyone has a favorite and I can't choose between the 20's and the 60's, except these designers have me swaying me towards the 20's.

Last night I watched the documentary Bill Cunningham New York. Bill Cunningham is a well known fashion street photographer, he currently is in his 80's and still shooting, riding his bike, & working for the New York Times. He has shot fashion trends for WWD & Times and is loved by everyone in the fashion industry (including Anna Wintour). It's hard not to fall in love with Bill - he hates money and wonders why anyone would ever want a bathroom & kitchen in their apartment. It's available on Netflix & playing at the IFC Center here in NY.

I've been so preoccupied with going through clothes and donating/ebaying them - I've forgotten that I am in desperate need of a few fall items myself. Here are a few things I've been admiring from afar (& will keep on doing so - unless I start selling my kidneys on ebay too :)

It's September 1st, I'm moved in and fall is almost here!! I love fall because it's when everyone gets back from weekends away and everyone just wants to hang out. And the weather is perfect! My new place is close to a park so I plan on spending a lot of time there while I can. Here's a few items that are on my fall shopping list.
A gorgeous leather bag, lots of bracelets, & a colored blazer.
Great black pumps to go with my black ankle skinny pants.
Polka dot blouse + colorblock tote. (love these colors together)
