Hot Pot @ 12:11 AM

Our new apartment has a nice teeny little balcony.  Natural light is a hot commodity in NYC (sadly), so we are grateful it.  Many of our neighbors have multiple grills down below and that is definitely a huge thing I miss, living in the city.  I think I would grill every night if I could.
So when I came across this Hot-Pot Barbecue, I was ecstatic.  It's a small great design that you could hide from your landlord if needed :)

john & kira's @ 9:28 AM

I came across these chocolates in the April Martha Stewart catalog and I can't wait to try one!  Made in Philadelphia by a husband & wife team, John & Kira's strive to promote positive social change.  For example their fresh mint is grown in an urban school garden program in Philadelphia that teaches students about nutrition & agriculture.  Their ginger comes from a biodynamic & organic farm from Molokai, Hawaii.  John & Kira's are mostly sold in the Philly area, but can be shipped to make an awesome Easter/Mother's Day gift or just an sweet treat for yourself!

sweet sweets @ 11:49 PM

I came across this "Share the Sweet" post on Bonnie Tsang's blog, B for Bonnie, and just had to share (I think it's already working!).  "Share the Sweet" was created by Mixing to encourage sharing.  I love the pretty wrapper and the fact that it's a lollipop makes me feel like a kid - just makes me want to blow bubbles out of the end of the sweet!

The Mast Brothers @ 12:04 AM

Last night I came across a display of Mast Brothers Chocolates at Whole Foods and could just not look away.  The packaging is amazing.  Locally made in Brooklyn, the duo's chocolate is handcrafted and handwrapped. It's even Obama approved.  Check out their site for vendors and a video to hear their story.
